The Canada Arab Congress on Middle East and North Africa Relations (CACMR) was honoured to attend the National Day reception of the State of Qatar, held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Westin Hotel in Ottawa.
Hosted by Ms. Alanoud Al-Otaibi, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Canada, the reception brought together ambassadors, senior government officials, diplomats, and distinguished guests from across Canada and the Arab world to commemorate Qatar’s National Day and celebrate the country’s rich heritage, unity, and achievements.
The event was notably attended by Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Honourable Anita Anand, as well as the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, Minister Lena Diab, along with many other senior officials, members of Parliament, and diplomatic representatives.
Representing CACMR, President Abdullatif had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and exchanges with ministers, ambassadors, and key stakeholders in attendance. These interactions further reinforced CACMR’s ongoing commitment to fostering dialogue, strengthening Canada–MENA relations, and advancing cooperation across diplomatic, economic, and cultural sectors.
CACMR extends its sincere appreciation to the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Ottawa for the gracious invitation and the excellent organization of this distinguished event. رئيس الكونجرس الكندي العربي لعلاقات الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا يحضر حفل استقبال اليوم الوطني لدولة قطر في أوتاوا
تشرّف الكونجرس الكندي العربي بحضور حفل استقبال اليوم الوطني لدولة قطر، الذي أقيم يوم الأربعاء الموافق 10 ديسمبر 2025، في فندق ويستن بأوتاوا.
استضافت الحفل السيدة العنود العتيبي، القائمة بالأعمال في سفارة دولة قطر لدى كندا، حيث جمع الحفل سفراء وكبار المسؤولين الحكوميين والدبلوماسيين وضيوفاً مميزين من مختلف أنحاء كندا والعالم العربي، وذلك لإحياء ذكرى اليوم الوطني لدولة قطر والاحتفاء بتراثها الغني ووحدتها وإنجازاتها.
وشهد الحفل حضوراً بارزاً من وزيرة الخارجية الكندية، معالي أنيتا أناند، ووزيرة الهجرة واللاجئين والمواطنة، معالي لينا دياب، إلى جانب العديد من كبار المسؤولين وأعضاء البرلمان والممثلين الدبلوماسيين.
مثّل الرئيس عبد اللطيف الكونجرس الكندي العربي في هذا الحدث، حيث أتيحت له فرصة المشاركة في مناقشات وتبادلات مثمرة مع الوزراء والسفراء والجهات المعنية الرئيسية الحاضرة. وقد عززت هذه اللقاءات التزام الكونجرس المستمر بتعزيز الحوار، وتوطيد العلاقات بين كندا و الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، ودعم التعاون في القطاعات الدبلوماسية والاقتصادية والثقافية.
يُعرب الكونجرس الكندي العربي لعلاقات الشرق الأوسط و شمال أفريقيا عن خالص تقديره لسفارة دولة قطر في أوتاوا على دعوتها الكريمة والتنظيم المتميز لهذا الحدث المرموق. كما نتقدم بأحر التهاني إلى قيادة وشعب دولة قطر بمناسبة يومهم الوطني، متمنين لهم دوام الازدهار والاستقرار والنجاح
Le Congrès canado-arabe sur les relations au Moyen-Orient et en Afrique du Nord (CCRAM) a eu l’honneur d’assister à la réception donnée à l’occasion de la fête nationale de l’État du Qatar, le mercredi 10 décembre 2025, à l’hôtel Westin d’Ottawa.
Organisée par Mme Alanoud Al-Otaibi, chargée d’affaires à l’ambassade de l’État du Qatar au Canada, cette réception a réuni des ambassadeurs, de hauts fonctionnaires, des diplomates et des invités de marque venus de partout au Canada et du monde arabe afin de commémorer la fête nationale du Qatar et de célébrer le riche patrimoine, l’unité et les réalisations du pays.
On notera la présence de la ministre des Affaires étrangères du Canada, l’honorable Anita Anand, ainsi que de la ministre de l’Immigration, des Réfugiés et de la Citoyenneté, la ministre Lena Diab, de nombreux autres hauts fonctionnaires, parlementaires et représentants diplomatiques.
Représentant le CCRAM, le président Abdullatif a eu l’occasion d’échanger de manière constructive avec les ministres, les ambassadeurs et les principaux intervenants présents. Ces échanges ont renforcé l’engagement continu du CACMR à favoriser le dialogue, à consolider les relations Canada-MENA et à promouvoir la coopération diplomatique, économique et culturelle.
