The Board of the Canada Arab Congress on Middle East and North Africa Relations (CACMR) had the honor of meeting with His Excellency Noureddine Sidi Abed, Ambassador of Algeria, at the Embassy of Algeria in Ottawa.
The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral relations and fostering greater collaboration between Canada and Algeria. Both sides explored opportunities for cooperation through business and cultural delegations, academic exchanges and joint initiatives that highlight the importance of stronger ties between Canada and the Arab world.
The CACMR Board expressed its gratitude to His Excellency for his warm welcome and insightful perspectives. Together, CACMR and the Embassy look forward to working closely to create avenues for meaningful partnerships, advance dialogue on regional priorities and encourage people-to-people connections.
CACMR remains committed to building bridges between Canada and the Arab world, and to supporting initiatives that deepen cooperation across political, economic, cultural and social spheres.

Le Conseil d’administration du Congrès canado-arabe sur les relations au Moyen-Orient et en Afrique du Nord (CCRAM) a eu l’honneur de rencontrer Son Excellence Noureddine Sidi Abed, Ambassadeur d’Algérie, à l’Ambassade d’Algérie à Ottawa.
Les discussions ont porté sur le renforcement des relations bilatérales et le développement d’une collaboration accrue entre le Canada et l’Algérie. Les deux parties ont exploré les possibilités de coopération par le biais de délégations commerciales et culturelles, d’échanges universitaires et d’initiatives conjointes soulignant l’importance de liens plus étroits entre le Canada et le monde arabe.
Le Conseil d’administration du CCRAM a remercié Son Excellence pour son accueil chaleureux et ses perspectives éclairantes. Le CCRAM et l’Ambassade se réjouissent de travailler de concert pour créer des partenariats fructueux, faire progresser le dialogue sur les priorités régionales et encourager les échanges entre les peuples.
Le CCRAM demeure déterminé à bâtir des ponts entre le Canada et le monde arabe et à soutenir les initiatives qui approfondissent la coopération dans les domaines politique, économique, culturel et social.
